Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

i read the prompt and immediately thought of my own playtime, not playtime for my toddler and baby…
feels like that goes to show that “playtime” involving my girls is more like performance time for mommy – high energy and exhausting.
i’d much prefer a low energy task, thank you.
my playtime is decorating my journal. using my vast collection of rubber stamps, washi tape, stickers, markers, pens, origami papers fills my heart with such satisfying joy.
i can scratch that creative itch in me by planning spreads or going off-the-cuff by exploring my craft stash.
not to mention that satisfying feeling of peeling off a beautiful sticker and sticking it onto a piece of paper, making it feel so final.
as a mom, i have limited time for myself. with that carved-out time in the day i can spend alone, i find peace surrounded by my stationery supplies.
