So Many wonderful memories associated with Filipino Spaghetti.
My family has always used vienna sausages and Prego pasta sauce for the dish. Both ingredients have a distinct fragrance, sweet and welcoming. The little pink slices of canned sausage gave the dish its signature look.
My cousins, siblings and I would sit around the table in my grandma’s kitchen, arguing whether it was correct to twirl the noodles around your fork or just scoop with with your fork for proper noodle-sauce delivery. It divided the table for a heated moment, but in the end, we were brought together by this timeless, yummy dish.
I recently made this version of spaghetti for my daughter’s first birthday party in the park. While serving pasta and Sauce was a challenge, I believed having long noodles for her party was more important. And everyone loved it.
